To think about
I'm working through some stuff right now on the philosophical geography side, but before I feel comfortable posting that, I found a quote that keeps me doing what I do. Here it is, taken from bell hooks' book, Outlaw Culture: Resisting Representation: This is a quote from Stuart Hall.
"The work that cultural studies has to do is to mobilize everything that it can find in terms of intelectual resources in order to understand what keeps making the lives we live, and the societies we live in, profoundly and deeply so utterly unhumane."
fucking A?!?
